I collected a lot of pulp books when I was younger . Then, when I moved out of the family home and needed the cash, I pretty much sold all of the books, my 2000ad collection and a lot of records. However, a few years ago, after watching videos from Jules Burt and reading the blog Paperback Warriors I decided it was time to start collecting those books again. Although some of the prices horrified me (£100 for a book that was originally 50p!!) it did not put me off, so here I am. I'm going to be reviewing old and new, plus some comics and some records, especially the soundtracks I have decided to buy just so I can finally financially cripple myself.

I’m writing these reviews just for fun. I have an extensive collection of trashy sci fi, action, horror, fantasy novels and just thought I would give some quick reviews so people get the idea what they are about. I’m no reviewer, so don’t expect any literary insights!! If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen me post the images on my stories. These are books of a different time, when publishing was king and attitudes a lot different! Be warned!!!

There is a lot of problems in the world today, I hope this little corner will keep you amused, informed and entertained.

WHO IS DANSMONSTERS?

Founder of the unknown Monster Bomb Club, he was born in the wilds of North West England, he was brought up on a diet of Italian Horror Movies, 80’s monster Movies and trashy, gory pulp horror novels , blackened death metal and movie soundtracks.

Hiding from the light , only leaving his artist den to feed and read, he creates wonderful monsters and horrors for you all to enjoy!!

If he is not splattering real or digital ink, you can find him relaxing reading one of his many trash pulp horror novels and listening to some dungeon synth.
